Online therapy is very similar to in-person therapy, however instead of meeting in the office we meet in a virtual setting, via a link sent to you prior to your first appointment session. Online therapy is a great option if you like convenience, flexibility, and the comfort of being in your own space during sessions.

We get to know each other. We talk about your goals, areas of your history you’re comfortable with sharing, and we build trust between us. Ultimately, this first session gives us an opportunity to see if we’re a good fit for each other and how we can achieve the goals you’d like to set.

This completely depends on you, your goals, and your life circumstances– I trust and encourage empowerment with my clients to recognize their needs in therapy. We’ll regularly check-in to see how you’re feeling about your progress and the work we’re doing together. Some of my clients work with me for years, some for months, and some for a set number of sessions - all of these are welcome!

No, I do not take insurance. Accepting payment from an insurance company requires me to submit a diagnosis and provide ongoing documentation of your treatment directly to your insurance provider. I believe your therapy should stay between you and me in the safety of our sessions together. Additionally, insurance benefits can change constantly and sometimes without any warning, which can cause interruptions in our work together. By taking financial responsibility, you get to be in control of your healing.
